Do I need to know video editing?

No. You describe the video in a sentence; the editing (cuts, captions, framing, sound) is done for you, and changes are made by asking for them.

How long can my video be?

Pick 15, 30 or 60 seconds, or say "no time limit" for an interview cut to whatever length the story needs.

Can it handle several takes of the same thing?

Yes. It reads all your clips, spots the lines you said more than once and keeps the best one.

Will it change what I said?

No. It only removes and reorders your own words; it never makes you say something new.
